Joey Jacob Timotheo is an uprising music producer born and raised in Arusha, Tanzania. He is a christian raised by Christian parents. He is from the Iraq tribe who originate from Manyara region. Joely is infamously known as chuga to most of his friends and the people surrounding him.

Chug a (Joely) completed his primary level in 2015, then he went forward with his studies and completed ordinary level in 2019. He is currently studying music at Tumaini University Makumira.

Chuga has plenty of work experience. He started doing music production when he was 15 years at local studio in his home town. He then decided to further his knowledge by learning how to play the piano. By learning more through working with people, he developed a greater interest in music and decided to join Makumira to further his musicial knowledge.

Chuga has a vision to own his own music label which he will name Jaymaker Productions after he is done with his studies. He wants to help young musicians with raw musical talent achieve a higher level in their musical interest.
