Josh Buxton
Bio
Mwesigwa Joshua Buxton, known professionally as Josh Buxton, is a Christian musician, producer and song-writer from Uganda. He was born on January 28, 1994 to Rev. Jackson Muteeba and Nassimbwa Janifer.
In addition to his musical career, Josh is also a child rights activist, radio figure, and runs his own music label, Scope Music Group (SMG).
Josh is also committed to helping others through his charity, Stand Up 4 Kids Foundation.
He was nominated in The Uganda Music Awards (TUMA) in 2017, and his music has achieved significant success, topping charts in East Africa and boasting high streaming numbers on major platforms.
His music style, Afropop, is a fusion of African rhythms and Western melodies, and he has released several albums, including "Mperekera" (2021) and "Mperekera Deluxe" (2022), as well as other popular singles.
