Jotam Matariro

Jotam Matariro is the Chief Executive Officer of Composers Authors and Publishers Association (CAPASSO) NPC. CAPASSO is a Mechanical Rights (MR) collective management organisation based in Johannesburg South Africa and the only MR organisation in Africa. He is passionate about equitable distribution of music royalties especially on the African continent.

He is a firm believer that as Africans we need to decide our future by making use of modern technology to enhance remuneration of creative work. Under his leadership, CAPASSO has developed to become the digital licensing hub for the African continent. He has a lot of experience in musical works licensing on the digital platforms across the continent.
