Kaz Kasozi
Bio
Kaz Kasozi is a Ugandan music artist based in the UK.
Kasozi started singing choral and traditional songs in high school. He dropped out of school and taught himself how to play the guitar and drums. He horned his craft by working with different musicians. In 1989, he moved to the UK to study music. While in the UK, he learned how to play the piano and cello.
In 1998, he released his debut album 'The Quest'. The album earned him fame and he started producing renowned music artists. As of July 2017, Kasokozi has produced for more than 30 artists.
He has worked as a music director for several bands and solo acts at venues such as the National Theatre the Royal Festival Hall (London) and the Zenith in Paris. Kasozi also runs multi-cultural & -media workshops in schools around London.
