Bio
Adolfo Amâncio Laita, known professionally as Kidfays, is a talented Mozambican rapper, singer/songwriter, and motivational speaker. He was born on June 2nd, 2002, in Maputo, Mozambique.
Kidfays drew inspiration from influential artists such as Nasty C, Dax, Tom McDonald, and Prince Ea, whose work resonated deeply with him. His journey in music began after he left school and ventured across the border to neighbouring South Africa. Faced with the disappointment of failing the 10th grade twice, Kidfays initially felt like a failure and gave up on pursuing further education. However, he soon realized that his true passion lay in music, prompting him to channel his energy into songwriting.
At the age of 17, Kidfays started crafting his own songs, honing his skills and finding his unique voice. In 2021, at the age of 19, he recorded his debut track titled "LMA," inspired by the acclaimed artist Nasty C. Building on his musical journey, Kidfays ventured into motivational content creation in 2022, drawing inspiration from the impactful work of Prince Ea. He began sharing motivational videos on various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram Reels, YouTube shorts, and TikTok.
Continuously evolving as an artist, Kidfays recently found inspiration from artists like Dax and Tom McDonald to create motivational songs. With his career still in progress, Kidfays is determined to make a meaningful impact through his music and motivational messages, aiming to inspire and uplift others.
