Kizito Mihigo
Bio
Kizito Mihigo was a Rwandan organist and composer. He was a graduate of the Paris Conservatory of Music. Kizito composed over 380 liturgical songs in Kinyarwanda and was one of the composers of the new national anthem of Rwanda. He was committed to peace and reconciliation among Rwandans after the genocide. Besides music, he was an activist and the founder of the Kizito Mihigo Peace Foundation
He died on 16 February 2020.
