Kumbali Cultural Village

Kumbali Cultural Village is a venue outside Blantyre, Malawi known for hosting traditional music. It is a place that is popular for showcasing the country’s culture, arts, music, cuisine and crafts. The venue features a house band known as the Jerere Band. The band plays live Malawian music using their homemade instruments. They play traditional Malawian music, reggae and contemporary pop music. They use acoustic and electric instruments depending on the occasion.

Everything about this place is traditional. There are 12 traditional huts for accommodation and an open bar and restaurant. It is a place that was designed to make visitors forget about the urban experience. It has a pleasant setting for its outdoor restaurant and bar where visitors can buy refreshments.

It also offers activities such as football and volleyball tournaments.
