K'zela

K'zela is an artist from South Africa in Limpopo,and is a versatile house music producers/DJ’s who started working with Stylish Dj (his Duo partner) in 2013. Both started being DJ’s at the age of 16, the duo has seen its music being released by various record labels in the world such as Nick Holder’s DNH Records (Canada, Toronto), Gallo Records, BGMP, House Afrika, 4 Billion Records and Aluku Records (UK). The duo’s music has moved many people in clubs and festivals with futuristic rare elements and has been making waves on big online music stores such as iTunes, Google Play, Traxsource, etc. The duo produces diverse sounds of house music such as Afro-House, Electronic Dance Music, Progressive House, Soulful House, and Afro-Deep House.
Their first double disc album which was released in 2016 titled “The Greatest Duo” was nominated for best dance duo album at F.A.M.E Awards 2016 and it has been receiving positive feedback from music lovers. The Duo without borders has worked with the likes of Da Capo, Aries Aquarius (Germany),Eon Le Roux (The Voice SA 2019 finalist), Dj Gibbz, Lyrik Shoxen, Dindy, Evelle (Nigeria Idol Winner), French Champagne, Riba, Dafro, aFrikaSoul, Objektives and many more. Their 2017 single featuring Dindy on the vocals titled “Queen”, was compiled on 4 Billion records house compilation and it received massive support and high rotation on Channel O and different radio stations nationally since its release. Queen was also nominated at LIMA Awards in two categories.
K’zela & Stylish DJ are currently running a productions company called 015 Global Productions which intends to promote various artists in South Africa. The duo released Extended Play (EP) in 2018 titled “015 Global Music” featuring Afrikayla, Evelle and Life Line.
With their 2018 single “Biwe Kweta”, the duo stepped away from the Afro-deep house sound that dominated their career and took a unique Afrocentric House fusion sound and put their own unique spin on it. “Biwe Kweta” is loosely translated is “What are you saying?” The song is about staying positive amid adversity, and having a relentless spirit that disregards the naysayers. This collaborative record with the 2014 Nigerian Idol winner Evelle was released on under 015 Global Productions on various music digital stores such as iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and many more.
