Lady Squanda
Bio
Born on 23 November 1991, Lady Squanda (real name Sandra Gwaza) is a female dancehall artist who was born and raised in Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe. She was raised by her grandmother Eunice Tomana. She started performing at 15 and became popular through her song ‘Cracker’.
In 2011, she made her debut performance at Zim Sum Fest in 2011 held year at the Zimbabwe Grounds in Highfields, Harare. She has released tracks such as ‘Ndinovhaira’, ‘Rasta Woman’, ‘Tiri Two’, ‘Fire’, ‘Punani’ and many more. In March 2015, she launched her album titled ‘8 Bullets’. She has twice won the Best Female category at the 2014 and 2015 Zim dance hall awards.
She has done collaborations with a number of artists such as Freeman on ‘Exclusive Dub’, Mostaff on ‘Nyoka Negavi’, Magikal on ‘Kunge Jenjere’, Xtra Large on ‘Ndokudawo’, Nox Guni on ‘Tamba Neni’ and many others.
