In 2002 started playing for school gigs to private functions and earning residency in nightclubs around the Nelson Mandela Metro. Laz Ola's style of music is a mix of trendy, neo soul sound and upbeats. His ability to fuse various genres into one engaging sound has been the secret to his success. He is the go-to DJ for those who want to get busy on the dance floor. In 2009 he ventured to live video mixing and grown through the years to be one of the most trusted DJ's .

Laz Ola has been trusted to perform before the Mayor of the Nelson Mandela Metro speech and count down in the biggest Opening of New Year city events for the past 3 years. He has played in popular night clubs Cubana(PE), Black Impala (PE), Joe's (Jhb), Taboo (Jhb) and Cappello (Dbn) to name a few, and shared stage with Big names in the music industry likes Black Coffee, Shimza, Rocco, Micasa and more.
He has also taken the clubbing experience to the radio by enjoying radio residency As a mix d for over 10 years gracing the public on provincial radio station with his mixes. Currently he is n Bay FM house party Friday nights and Saturday Breakfast show.
