Lisina
Bio
Lisina is a guitarist and vocalist from South Africa.
He is also known as Bongani Masina in the music industry. He is a self-taught bass born in Tjakastaad Mpumalanga. He started playing the bass guitar at his high school years, driven by passion for the instrument. During his high school years he joined a local group named Lite Masters in 1995.
He got his big break when he started playing professionally for the well-known legend Jabu Khanyile, at a time he was a member of the group called Khumbula that was well known for their African Maskandi and released 2 albums during year 2001 and 2003.
Lisina has worked with many of South African well known artists. Recorded and/or performed with: Jabu Khanyile, Joe Nina, Tshepo Tshola, Zama Jobe, Angelique Kidjo, Afro Tenors, Camagwini, Kwela Tebza, Malik, Pu2ma, Sphokazi, Zulu Boy, Jessica Mbangeni, Mahottela Queens and many more.
