Bio
Louise J. Issabu, a renowned Gospel singer, songwriter, and Pastor hailing from Dar es Salaam, has graced the world with her divine talents. Her remarkable journey began in her early years when she discovered her passion for music while singing in the Sunday school choir at the Dar es Salaam Pentecostal Church (DPC). However, life took her family to Nairobi, Kenya, where she spent her childhood and teenage years.
In 2003, her family returned to Dar es Salaam, marking a pivotal moment in Louise's life as she embarked on her music career as a worship leader at Mikocheni B Assemblies of God. Over the years, she faithfully served as a Worship Leader at various churches, including Word Alive Centre, City Christian Centre (CCC), Tehillah Fellowship, and Living Water Centre Church, sharing her uplifting melodies and spiritual guidance with congregations.
In 2018, Louise took a significant leap forward, launching her solo career as a gospel artist with the release of her soul-stirring song, "Mapenzi ya Kweli." Her dedication to her craft led her to record her inaugural live album, titled "The Break Out," in April 2022. The world eagerly awaited, and on February 24, 2023, Louise commenced the release of her captivating songs from this highly anticipated album.
October 2023 brought another exciting milestone in Louise's journey as she signed with the Be Music Group recording label, solidifying her position as a leading voice in the gospel music scene in Dar es Salaam.
In 2016, Louise exchanged vows with Music producer and Pastor Baraka Paul Issabu. Their union has been blessed with the joy of three beautiful boys. Together, they serve as Lead Pastors at The Gathering Church in Dar es Salaam, where they continue to inspire and guide their congregation with their unwavering faith and musical prowess.
