LUFUNO MUNZHELELE

LUFUNO Munzhelele is a perfomer who hails from Venda in Limpopo. He has been performing live both in his home province Limpopo and around Gauteng since 2012 and has since established a number of followers who sing along to songs which are mostly written in his native Luvenda language. 'Li do da duvha', 'Ngani nne' and 'Ri do rabela a ri neti' are some of the fans' firm favourites.

Munzhelele started writing poetry and short stories at an early age. He draws his musical inspirations from his love for traditional and reggae music. He released his debut single ‘Li Do Da Duvha’ in 2017 and since then he has grown as a writer and as a performer. On the single, Lufuno worked with a hip hop group, KFO, and was recorded at the Burning Shack Studios.

To better perfect his craft, Lufuno is currently registered for Music Classes and he is also in studio working on new tracks for 2022. Currently, the focus is on increasing our online content so our fans can enjoy the music wherever they are in these uncertain times. Lufuno and his team have created a YouTube channel to promote and publish their music to global audience, taking advantage of the digital world.
