Mazwakhe Gumede his an artist from South Africa.
Mazwakhe has also worked with highly respected artists, such as the late Sipho Gumede, Jonas Gwangwa, Steve
Kekana, Joe Nina, Mbongeni Ngema, to mention just a few. He has also shared a stage with the legendary Jimmy
Dludlu, Thandiswa Mazwayi, Busi Mhlongo and many more.
He has performed in popular event venues, such as The Market Theatre in Johannesburg, State Theatre in Pretoria,
Thabo Mbeki’s Inaugoration in 2004 in JHB. He mostly participates in The BAT Centre, UKZN Contre for Jazz and
Popular Music, The Playhouse Company Jazz Sundowners from year 1997 up to date.
