Mpilonhle Nompumelelo Buthelezi (born 6 October 1989) is a South African vocalist born in the south of Durban in a small township called KwaMakhutha.
She realised her singing talent when she accidentally auditioned for the first time in the Voice of McDonald's South Africa back in 2011. She won the competition and went on to compete in the international level in the Voice of McDonald's, which was held in Orlando in the US, where she finished in 17th place. internationally. During her Voice of McDonald's time, she performed at various events around the country hosted by McDonald's South Africa.
In 2013, she joined the Crown Awards Choir where she sang until 2017. During the time she working with the choir, she was also casted as a singer in the Trumpet Africa Awards and Maria The Musical. In 2014, she joined the Love Thing Musical by Zolani Maseko. In the same year, she also joined the KZN Gospel Choir, directed by Sibongiseni Mbhele.
In 2018, she entered Ethekwini's Gospel ID where she finished as first runner-up. Since then, she has been performing at various events and festivals hosted by Ethekwini Municipality.
She is currently studying law at UNISA and working as a performing artist at various restaurants in and around Durban, including Wahooz uShaka Marine World, The Chairman, Blue Waters Hotel, The Protea Hotel Edward, Suncoast Casino, among others. She is also part of the Ivangeli Gospel Project.
