They take care of the intellectual property rights and leave the creativity to you. The company's vision is to create a platform where songwriters can showcase their compositions to the recording industry within a safe and protected environment. NewTunes will actively promote new songs from independent songwriters and create an online song library with new fresh music available to the recording industry.

NewTunes is primarily a publishing company. Therefore all the songs and songwriters are protected and cared for. NewTunes is a registered publisher with SAMRO. Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) is their partner in protecting music in churches and schools. Your songs will immediately be registered with all these organisations and others.

Contrary to the standard industry rate of 50% royalty income to the songwriter, NewTunes offer a 70% royalty. Furthermore they offer a 3-year term per song, after which the songwriter can re-apply for membership.
