Nikki Mbishi

Nikki's music life started when he was still a kid. 2 Proud used to be his favourite local rapper back in 1997 when he and his friend Mubarak used to mimic his rap. He kept growing his musical ambitions, influenced by artists like Professor J.

He finally succeeded to record in 2004 under KGT with Flex records. When he finished O-Level he participated In some freestyle rap contests, battling it out with mcs like Godzilla,C Feza,Mkristo and Emannuel Massawe, eventually emerging as the champion of freestyle in season one under DJ Fetty,Adam Mchovu and Reuben Ndege ''Ncha Kali''. He went on to record with Tongwe records. His debut album, 'Sauti ya Jogoo' was released by M-Lab.
