Nyimbo Music Festival

Formerly known as Music Camp, the Nyimbo Music Festival is an annual event that is open to the community. It is held at American School International of Lusaka (AISL) and runs during the first week of August. It has a team of local and foreign instructors. Some come from Lusaka and the international team from Germany, the UK or the USA, depending on the year.

Nyimbo Music Festival is divided into three sections according to the age and skill level of the students. During the event, students are given the opportunity to develop a variety of musical interests. Some of the workshops include ensembles, theory and percussion, choir, dance, song writing.
