Olu Maintain
Bio
Real name- Olumide Edwards Adegbulu, is a Nigerian Afro hip-hop musician. At a young age, his parents encouraged him to take up music, which he in any event took to, as He liked to mimic the songs of Bobby Brown and M.C. Hammer.
His first attempt at a demo was done in 1992, after which he joined the Hip-Hop trio "Maintain" which had hits like "Alo alo", "I Catch Cold" and "Ni Bo La Wa Gbe Lo". After six albums between 1998 and 2004, he split from the group in 2005. His debut solo album, "Maintain reloaded", was phenomenally successful with mega-hit track "Yahoozee". Olu Maintain studied Accounting at The Polytechnic, Ibadan and runs his own label, Reloaded Records.
