Plaxedes Wenyika

Born 22 November 1980, Plaxedes Wenyika is a female artist from Harare, Zimbabwe. She hogged the limelight with her song ‘Wadarireiko’. This prompted her to release more songs chief among them ‘Love You Better’ and ‘Huya Ndikutaridze’ taken from her ‘Brighter Day’ album.

Plaxedes took a long break prompting people to suggest that she had quit music. However, Wenyika who has since graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Administration cited that she had been busy with her studies. Besides music, Wenyikia is a business woman who owns a lingerie shop called Munhanga at Harare’s Eastgate Mall. She has also made an appearance in short films like ‘Sharing Day’ and ‘Big House Small House’.
