Bio
Quayba is an Afrosoul & Highlife singer, songwriter and producer born and raised in Ghana, crafting songs based on the themes of love in relationships, life experiences & laughter.
Her most recent work has been a weekly song release series called "EPiQ" which has seen the release of 8 songs coupled with live visual performances as she strives to usher in a distinctive new era of soul music derived from African rhythm and cadences accompanying her insights into the everyday lives and experiences of Ghanaians.
Quayba's journey begun with talent competitions and providing backup vocals for other artists until she gained the opportunity to record her first major single "Broken Voice". Her key accomplishments include 3 EPs, Nkuro: GH To The World, Nkuro: Live In Accra, EPiQ; nominations for Entertainment Achievement Awards for Best Highlife Song and Best Female Vocalist; headlining two Yfm concerts and performing for the current President of Ghana on his 74th birthday.
Quayba has graced several stages most recently performing at the International Amofest Music Festival alongside international artists from Netherlands and Brazil. Her impressive vocal abilities has been featured on collaborations with rapper M.anifest, international trumpeter Berima Amo and soul sensation Bahghi.
Currently in studio working on her next song release and preparing for a self-headlined concert to give her fans a live presentation of her just released EP.
