Ric Spade

Ric Spade is an award-winning Reggae/ Dancehall artist whose unique blend of contemporary and traditional music presents a fresh unorthodox sound. The Ghanaian sing-jay is creating a soundscape that blends Reggae and Dancehall with RnB, Afro and Hiphop elements.

Ric expresses music that describes his journey. ‘My music chronicles where I come from, and where I’m going.’ he says. His story is one of humble beginnings and big aspirations. Despite the odds he has managed to carve out a steady career and following in his hometown.


Ric Spade has rocked a number of stages in Accra. He performed at Eventshub (Achimota) alongside ace Reggae artistes Konkarah Jahvybz, Ras Kuuku & King Lagazee. He has performed at the National Theatre at the maiden First African Awards ‘22 and won the Best Dancehall Song of the Year award for his song “Deadman Wheelie”.


The artiste is currently focused on recording and releasing his debut body of sonic art.
