Thamasanqa Nelson Modise, well known by his stage name Silicone is a South African artist. He developed an interest in hip-hop when he was young. His music Motswako, a mixture of all South African languages. In 2009 he joined a crew named Motswako Horror and became a member of a very undefeatable rapper alive. He started recording his music while he was working on Motswako Horror. He has recorded on studios like Mpuma Records managed by a local producer named Tear Verse.
In 2011 he opened his studio and released a single titled Pop bottles, Money Maker and HIV & AIDS. In 2012 he released mixtape titled MOTSWAKO KEA PHUSHA, which is now busy trending on iTunes, spotify, tubidy and many more.
Early 2013 he released a much anticipating single called MOTLALENTWA as an independent artist, it was played on air on this RADIO STATION - VAALTAR FM, this radio station made it successful around the community. The song went nice in two days of release on social media.
In addition, early 2016, he released MIXTAPE titled WHO’S THE BADDEST? .The album went huge in his community,
His turning Point is his other great single track called MONEY that has high rotation in Community Radio Stations like VAALTAR FM. This song was downloaded frequently times in day of release on internet.
