T-Ansyto’s first solo album, Maestro, was released in 2016, and introduced Haitian music lovers everywhere to trap konpa. In 2017, he released a second trap-kompa album, Tou 9, featuring hit songs like “Malgre Tout” and “Si”, which landed him on the global stage. While many artists were reimagining how to connect and entertain during the global COVID-19 pandemic, T-Ansyto made waves with a viral live-stream show, “Entre Nous,” which was re-broadcasted online by several international media outlets. Like many of T-Ansyto’s hits, the live show, “Entre Nous” coined a trademark phrase “kashap kashap zell manman pepal” that spread like wildfire in Haiti and in the Haitian diaspora.
As the pandemic brought with it a new normal to the industry, T-Ansyto continued to release new music, such as “Pa Gen Kote”, “Souke”, “Lave Lè a”, and “Jewòm”– even continuing to electrify Haitian audiences and Mardi Gras goers in Jacmel in 2021, where he was named 2021 Jacmel Carnaval Champion. After releasing another hit, “Saka,” in 2022, T-Ansyto toured, delighting audiences, in Haiti, Santo Domingo, Miami, Boston, Atlanta and Canada. His next album will hit stores Spring 2023.
