Lesang 'Tail96 ' Motlhabane , son of Doreen Motlhabane was born on the 5th of November 1996 in makgobistaad ,Mahikeng , He was  a Very Active pulip in acaademics and sports during his school days but also had a interest in the art of rapping from the age of 8 

when he was 15 years old he relocated and changed schools from gaetsalwe primary school in Mahiken to Rasimone intermediate school And then to charora high school in chaneng a small village in rustenburg where he matriculated at in 2018 .

during high school , he would bunk classes to pursue a career in music but was faced with the problem of suffering from migraines and seizures every now and then , which also lead him to be put at home and not attend school on a regular basis until he was deemed fit from school 

Music History

Tail96 was noticed in a street cypher by sam molefe, who took him under his wing at Audacious Entertainment and  managed  him after learning a set of skills on how to record , produce and manage artist , he stared his own record label called cryptic gang entertainment Music group , which he still ruins to day .

prior to his current alias , he used to go by the name lil' flow scorpion and he changed it due to the fact that there were too many  rappers using 'lil' as prefix to their pseudonyms in the rap game , so he needed a sense of authenticity and delived his name from the tail part of a corpion which he infused with his year of birth [ 1996] all of gave him 'Tail96'

Music Background 

he was inspired by kwaito artiss 'mambiya' and 'msawawa' to become  a rap artist , he defines his music style 'traptswaka' which is fusion of motswako and trap hiphop with a tribal feel on the beats because he tells african stories in his music and he also defines it as ancestors music''
