Tata Dindin

Tata Dindin Jobarteh (real name Ebraima Jobarteh) is a griot from the Gambia. The son of a kora player, he grew up learning about the music that would be his assistance later from his neighbourhood which had another music family.

In The Gambia, Tata is well known for his electric band "Salam," an 8 piece troupe includes a 23 string amplified kora and bass guitar, electric guitar, western style drum set, traditional Mandinka drums and the balaphone.
