Tebogo Dibeco

Tebogo Dibeco is a quintessential musician, entrepreneur, family man and mentor to many in the industry. He’s not just a lead guitarist but a leading one as well. He has pulled strings for an endless list of artists who are budding and those who are transi tioning to legendary status: Peter Nthwane, S ’nazo, Presss, Ms. Noxy, Kegorapetse Melamu, John Paka and As an independent artist and a member of the OnPoint Music band, he has featured on numerous jazzy productions, such as Careers TV’s an nual Women’s Month Concert, Bloemfontein Jazz Movement’s Jazz Evenings, Mangaung Cultural Festival (Macufe), Dipontsho Festival, Fur & Coats, Mostabela Live Sessions and Night with the Stars. Tebogo’s passion for music was brewed in church and flavoured in African Jazz, thereby informing his dual presence in jazz and on the gospel stage. Just in recent times, he has played for Christian shows like One Night with Sinalo Vapi and From the Heart t o the Throne. Tebogo, who is a Graphic Design graduate from the Central University of Technology (CUT), was a member of a band called Infuzed in the beginning of his career. It was at Infuzed that he got his big break into the industry and tapped into his unexplored musical abilities. He was introduced to R&B, jamming to the sounds of Fossils (the Soulful Four), among others. Since then, Tebogo’s journey has been an infusion of different influences, while maintaining his unique style that distinguishes him from his musical peers.
