Timoteo Malawi

Timoteo Malawi is an activist who runs Project April Urban Music against abuse. Timoteo, who began his music in July 26 2003 while in Cape Town, believes that by working with other Urban artists can help him reach out to many. He has been working with Artists like: Gwamba, BFB, Krazy-G, KBG, D1, 3rd Eye, Dare Devils, Martse and many others.

On Feb 2, 2015he hip-hop recording artist released his long awaited full-length album ‘Afro Praise’ which is available in retail outlets and is to be made available to digital platforms nationwide.

After partaking in project upon project on gender issues on various abuses, Timoteo Malawi decided it is time to feed the inner man, this is when ‘Afro Praise’ was born, filled with 10 Afro-hip-hop tracks and 3 bonus tracks, the album is packed with straight from the heart songs like ‘Praise Jesus’, ‘African Praise’, ‘No one else’ which he featured B1.

Timoteo also featured Catalia a former Nyasa Queens song bird in most of the songs to give it an African pulse. One of the songs is currently used as a theme song in a radio sports program at PLRadio and received praise from many who already purchased it both here and in USA. The album was produced by the Labrats and Tkmore/Lowfat Studios.
