The Warehouse Cultural Centre

The Warehouse Cultural Centre is a popular entertainment venue in Malawi. It is situated in Blantyre between the railway line and a major roundabout. It started off as a depot. In 2004, it was transformed into an entertainment spot. It consists of a soundproofed theater, cafe and bar. It has grown to become one of the country’s popular venues let alone a supporter of the country’s music, art, dance, theater and literature. Some of the activities held at the center include cultural festivals, poetry reading, comedy shows, screenings, writing workshops and live music events.
