Biography for Yolanda Vutela

Yolanda Vutela is a GOSPEL MUSIC ARTIST married to Butho Vutela who is also a Gospel Music ARTIST and staying in East London Eastern Cape. Also she is a founder and owner of “Good News Music Center” in East London, Music shop and music stands that sells ‘Music, books, bibles, preaching. The husband (Butho) was the first one to record his first album in 2008 with he has released FOUR albums to date, with the current album titled ‘AH! Mvelingqangi ‘with the hit song IZIBELE/ OLOTHANDO also the favorite album of our South African President (Mr. Zuma) which Yolanda also received training by backing and featuring in his album/songs.

Yolanda’s career in music started at a very young age at church like many most musicians. In the year 2001 she was very blessed and fortunate to be amongst the very few musicians that were trained by the well known music legend “Mthunzi Namba” of Joyous Celebration through an Eastern Cape gospel group called “Sibabalwe Gospel Group” that was funded by an Eastern Cape business man from her church.
In 2011 the Yolanda released her first debut album titled “New Mercies” meaning Inceba Entsha (Lamentations 3 v23) which is still doing very well in the market. And recently(2014 June) she has released her second album titled “ Kumele Adunyiswe”( consisting of powerful anointed worship & praise songs in English , Xhosa and Ghana languages), which she promoted and marketed it and Launched in Queenstown on the 16August 2014 And in East London on the 06September 2014. Yolanda’s heart behind her albums is to call Africa to worship God and to awaken hope and future that God is working in Africa( UnguThixo wee Ntlanga Zonke). She is sure and certain that gospel music is her purpose on this earth because through her music ministry she is able to reach out and touch the lost and wounded generation and lead them to Christ. During pandemic she released her live recorded album on all digital platforms, the album was recorded live in Eastern Cape 2019. Now the plan is to do a launch and introduce the album on online virtual platforms as well. Yolanda is very passionate about the young people especially young women and young man in finding their purpose and dreams. She often organizes youth gatherings where they give them an environment or platform to share their heart & concerns and invite specialized speakers including herself helping the youth in their challenges. As an entrepreneur she believes in women andYouthEmpowerment as another tool to minimize gender Based VIOLENCE and she does that through her music organized events. This is her way of giving back to her community to build a well sound, safe and prospering life. Yolanda together with her husband Butho have also released a joint album (2013) singing and sharing the songs together which they have launched at the Orient Theater on the 03/01/2013 where 5000 fans and above came to witness and celebrate...
