Gender@Work FAQ

Which African countries are eligible to the call for applications?

Female applicants from all African countries are eligible.

Are there any age restrictions to apply?

All applicants must be over 18 years old.

What are the necessary travel arrangements to participate in the training programme?

All applicants must have a valid passport that allows for travel.

You may require a visa: Should you be selected, all information related to the visa process will be provided to you by the Music In Africa team and you will be required to confirm with your nearest consular services for the programme host country.

VISA and flight costs will be reimbursed.  Flights will be arranged and paid for by the Music In Africa Foundation.

When and for how long should I be prepared to be available?

Applicants should be prepared to be available for the duration of the programme. This is normally a full week’s theory prior to the practical elements taking place during the ACCES conference in the host country. Always check the host country dates and specific locations on our website before applying.
