Bobi Wine endorses exclusive Ugandan music channel

“At some point it was a miraculous occurrence for a Ugandan artist to see their video get played on TV and now we have a channel that shows only Ugandan music…Big up, Face TV,” Bobi said.

Save for a few artists like Bebe Cool, Navio, Eddy Kenzo and Radio and Weasel who could afford to produce quality videos that can compete on the international platform, most Ugandan musicians felt shortchanged because it was a real hustle getting their videos played on air. The launch of Face TV therefore comes as a welcome relief.
