Call for entries: AFRIMAs 2022
African music professionals from across the continent and diaspora can now submit entries for this year’s edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMAs) ahead of the presentation ceremony from 3 to 6 November.
The news follows the unveiling of the calendar for the 2022 edition last month. This year’s AFRIMAs, which celebrate outstanding musicians on the continent while promoting Africa's cultural heritage, will reward musical works released between 20 August 2021 and 5 August 2022.
The deadline for submissions is 5 August.
The nominees will be unveiled on 17 August, after a screening process between 9 and 16 August. Voting will be open on the AFRIMAs website from 24 August.
