Call for nominations: 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Unsung category

Unsung is a contest designed for upcoming artists, giving the winner a performance slot at the event.

To nominate a favourite artist, the public should post a picture of their preferred artist across social media, using the hashtag #VGMA23Unsung before 6 March.

Local musician Gambo won the competition last year, beating Bryan The Mensah, Nautyca, Ama Nova, King Maaga, Vanilla, Rcee, Chief One, Roy X Taylor and ShugaLord.

Now in their 24th edition, the VGMAs celebrate outstanding artistic accomplishments in the county’s music industry. The awards are designed to honour musical achievements in the country and across the continent in various genres including highlife, hiplife, Afropop, and traditional music.
