Call for scores: Juventas New Music Ensemble
Juventas New Music Ensemble in the US is calling on emerging composers around the world to submit chamber music and art songs that will be performed at the Multicultural Art Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on 11 September.

Depending on public health conditions, the concert will either be in-person or online with studio-quality audio and feeds from four video cameras. Selected composers will receive a CD quality recording of the live performance, which they will be free to use for networking.
Juventas New Music Ensemble is looking for works by emerging composers that relate to any of the following themes:
- The COVID-19 pandemic.
- The attacks on 11 September 2001.
- Honouring personal or community loss and/or healing.
Eligibility
- The organisers welcome music from any composer who is identified as emerging.
- Juventas presents music by a diverse spectrum of voices and therefore encourages submissions from all nationalities, races, faiths and gender identities.
Instrumentation
- Any combination of soprano singer, flute, clarinet, horn, two violins, viola, cello, piano and percussion.
Submission process
Composers should upload a PDF score and MP3 recording here. A submission fee of $10 is required and can be paid here. Composers may request a waiver if they are unable to pay the fee by emailing info@juventasmusic.org.

The submission deadline is 11 June.
Note: The composer grants Juventas the right to audio and video record the live performance of the work, and to use the recording for marketing/PR purposes, including distribution to season subscribers and posting on social media and our website.
