This training forms part of the CREATIFI project implemented in collaboration with the World Bank and other industry partners. The courses are aimed at imparting critical industry knowledge to individuals with two main modules, as follows:
Module 1: Music Management & Entrepreneurship – This module recognises music management as a critical skill and will equip trainees with essential music management and entrepreneurship knowledge and skills, covering areas such as the fundamentals of music management, music business and entrepreneurship.
Module 2: Technical Skills Training – This module will equip participants with essential technical skills in areas such as sound engineering, music production, audio recording, mixing, mastering techniques, etc.
Each module will enrol approximately 15 trainees, and applicants may only apply for one module. Finalised topics for each module will be shared with successful applicants. The duration of each module will be three days. Trainers for this programme will include some of the most experienced music practitioners in Southern Africa.
