HTA Impact Gospel Awards Kenya: All the winners

The awards are organised by Hifadhi Talanta Africa (HTA) – an organisation that fosters talent development among young people.

“Some of the winners are not the faces we are used to,” HTA founder Violet Wanjala said. “Our target was to award and celebrate impact, and I am glad we achieved that.

Reacting to his Artist of the Year victory, veteran gospel artist Reuben Kigame said: “At the onset of my career, I was almost thrown out of church for introducing reggae and rumba to the church. I am proud to see that artists who are pushing the envelope way more than I did are now being accepted.”
