Nigeria: Headies announce 2019 nominees

The event features 23 categories of top hits and artists who have ruled the airwaves between January 2018 and June 2019.

Categories such as Best Reggae/Dancehall, Best Alternative Album, Best R&B Single, Best Songwriter and two others were removed from an earlier list of 29 categories.

Teni, Burna Boy and Adekunle Gold top the list with the most nominations to their names.
