Open call: Eutopia art residency in Greece
Musicians, visual artists, architects, writers, art historians, curators and other creative professionals from all over the world are invited to submit applications for the Eutopia art residency in Kavala, Greece, from 17 April to 8 May 2024.
The call is open to artists of different races, genders, ages and orientations with open ideas and can stay and work temporarily in residence programmes from three to six weeks.
The residency would allow artists to:
- Change environment.
- New inspired project production.
- Interact with colleagues from all over the world.
- Experimentation and escape from the routine.
- Explore new places, nature and human history
The residence includes:
- Accommodation in luxury studios.
- Shared indoor and outdoor workspace.
- Visiting artist studios, museums, galleries.
- Open exhibition and special event.
- Walking on the sea and in nature.
- Assistant curator.
“In 2022 we started something new,” a statement reads. “The purpose is to spread and explore art through the communication of artists from different countries and cultural backgrounds. We expect, through the artists’ participation in the events, to influence each other through the exchange of ideas, thoughts and opinions about art and enrich their perspective, character and personality.”
