Drosos Foundation is a funding institution for Europe and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. It is committed to enabling disadvantaged children, young people and young adults to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution in their community.
Project support is aimed at facilitating pioneering ideas that initiate positive developments for the individual and society. The foundation supports the development of new innovative ideas as well as the replication and scaling up of successful previous approaches.
So far, the foundation has supported collaborations and local initiatives in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, Germany and Switzerland.
With the survey, Drosos Foundation seeks to:
- Create an inventory of festivals or other cultural events that showcase, discuss, and/or promote creativity as a vehicle for social change.
- Better understand the existing initiatives in order to enable synergies and imagine future collaborations for its partners.
- Develop and support projects that have a direct bearing on improving the living conditions of particular groups of people.
Who can participate?
The foundation is looking to engage:
- Festival, platforms, meetings, or any other artistic or cultural events.
- Events that focus on creativity as a driving force for social change.
- Events interested in connecting with the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region.
