SA: 2019 Limpopo Gospel Music Awards announce nominees

The awards ceremony will be held at Meropa Casino Hotel in Polokwane on 7 December.

“We are quite impressed with the level of participation this year, as it covers all corners of our beautiful province," LIGMAs project manager Augustine Nethononda said. 'More comforting is the participation by the youth, as they are the future of the local gospel industry. We would still like to urge our young generation to participate in the future, in particular women so that we can have a full representation."

Two additional categories have been added to this year's awards, namely Best Gospel Collaboration/Duo and Best Limpopo Gospel Hot Single.

“Our plan is to introduce at least two categories every year as the brand continues to grow. There is also a compelling case for us to recognise those who work behind the scenes, like the engineers and producers, as they are also key in any music production set-up,” Nethononda said.
