SA: Kiddo CSA releases new single Window
South African artist Kiddo CSA has released a new single titled ‘Window’ featuring London-based R&B singer and songwriter Moniqué Lawz.
The record is off his upcoming EP set for release this March and is available for streaming and download on major digital platforms.
Lawz’s verse is delivered with sassiness that harmonises with Kiddo CSA’s effortless flow. Karan Kanchan, an India-based producer whose credits include Vince Staples and Pusha T, produced the song.
While Kiddo CSA’s previous single, ‘Blessed’, was a soft life anthem and reflection on all that he has achieved, ‘Window’ is a cool kid’s anthem and reminder to keep grinding. The song is a fast-paced prelude to his upcoming EP, which follows suit with features and producers from around the world.
Born Sipho Ncube in East of Johannesburg, South Africa, Kiddo CSA is a fast-rising hip hop artist. A self-explanatory EP titled So Far, So Great traces Kiddo’s journey so far as a full-time artist since signing with Warner Music Africa (WMA). His career highlights include being featured at international music festivals such as Rocking the Daisies and Cotton Fest as well as being nominated for the VOW FM award for Best Newcomer of 2021.
Known for his lyrical genius and smooth effortless tone, Kiddo has his finger on the pulse of the hip hop scene. As a result of Kiddo's heavy-hitting freestyles, DJ PH invited him to feature on the track ‘Gotta Go’ alongside Da L.E.S. and Tumi Tladi.
Kiddo has also already released a single titled ‘Stay Down’ featuring American star Mick Jenkins.
