Shasha Marley

Shasha Marley is a Ghanaiaan reggae singer. Often called Monk on the Loose, he has been singing since teenage-hood. He draws influences from such artists as Bob Marley, Winston Rodney (Burning Spear), Steel Paulse, Jimmy Cliff among others. His debut ‘Tell Freedom’ was well-received. He has since released more albums and counts the late US artist Isaac Hayes as a collaborator.

Shasha has been involved in several humanitarian projects including a benefit against HIV/AIDS sponsored by Johns Hopkins University.
