Bio
Sabside (real name Sabelo Simelane) is a Swaziland born house producer / remixer based in Johannesburg. Raised in a music background, his journey into music began when he was 10 years old. In 20015, he relocated to Johannesburg, South Africa to pursue his studies in Sound Engineering. He figured out that as a producer, he had to broaden his music knowledge, develop his listening skills let alone enhance his knowledge of music theory.
He is the owner of a record label called 16th Note. Through this label, he has managed to penetrate the music industry with only a desktop computer, some music making software and a lot of passion. As a musician, Sabside primarily focuses on dance music but as a producer, he produces music from different genres such as RnB, ballads, jazz and others.
In 2006, he released his debut song called ‘Mountain High’. this was followed by the release of a song called ‘Mine Bengidzakiwe’ which made headlines in the late 2007. In 2008 and 2012, he released two singles titled ‘Mood Swings’ and ‘Munyamunyane’ respectively. ‘Munyamunyane’ is a masterpiece outlining his journey as a musician; it also uplifts and represents the Swazi entertainment industry.
