BHUBESI

BHUBESI (Promise Sihle Tshabalala) is a South Africa-based artist from eSwathini.

BHUBESI moved to South Africa to join his father's family. His love for music began in South Africa. He earned the name BHUBESI in 2006 when he founded Mzansi Crew, which comprised Maqoba Khumal (Gabagaba) and Shate Nklengethwa (Pika 2).

He admires such rappers as Anati, Amo, KO, YungSwizz, the late Prokid, Zola, Sjava, Mtee, Cruz, Ruff and F-eyze.

BHUBESI has worked with musicians like Sjava, Mtee and Slindile Nodangala. Some of the producers he has worked with include Ruff, SK and Bhabsi.

Besides music, BHUBESI is also an actor who has featured in iSibaya, Uzalo, and The Queen. He has also appeared in Netflix films The Last Days of American Crime and Getroud met rugby.
