Valerie Omari
Bio
Valerie Omari is South Africa-based Congolese R&B singer.
Omari released her critically acclaimed debut single ‘Just Like The Rain’ in 2018 followed by Therefore I Am EP. She credits the influence of Janet Jackson and Lauryn Hill on her music.
Besides music, Omari is a commercial model and athlete. In 2015, she was selected to represent South Africa in Florida at the International Arts Talent Show, which led to a glossy feature spread in the Marie Claire magazine the following year.
In 2020, she was featured by Apple Music as part of the streaming platform's New Artist Spotlight series for the month of April.
