LUFUNO Munzhelele is a perfomer who hails from Venda in Limpopo. He has been performing live since 2012 and has since established a number of followers who sing along to songs which are mostly written in his native Luvenda language. 'Li do da duvha', 'Ngani nne' and 'Ri do rabela a ri neti' are some of the fans' firm favourites.
Munzhelele started writing poetry and short stories at an early age. He draws his musical inspirations from his love for traditional and reggae music. He released his debut single ‘Li Do Da Duvha’ in 2017 and since then he has grown as a writer and as a performer.
His popular track 'Rabela' is available for download on MEC Media YouTube Channel. It was recorded live at the Pretoria State Theatre during the Lockdown period in 2020.
