Call for applications: 2021 CEC ArtsLink creatives residency programme in the US
International arts organisation CEC ArtsLink is inviting artists, arts leaders and curators from all arts disciplines to apply for its 2021 ArtsLink International Fellowship programme in the US from October to November.
CEC ArtsLink individually curates each fellowship, which is hosted by US non-profit arts organisations across the country and covers all living, working, travel, and health insurance costs.
Fellows will also receive up to three years of support through the initial six-weeks residency, a follow-up project in the US (separate proposal), and subsequently a project in the fellow's home country (separate proposal).
“CEC ArtsLink remains committed to the residencies in 2021 with the understanding that the uncertainties of the pandemic might require new approaches to supporting fellows and host organisations,” CEC ArtsLink says. “Applicants do not need to have contacts with organisations in the US to apply for this programme, but proficiency in English is required.”
Egypt is the only African country whose citizens are eligible to apply. Other eligible countries include: Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon and Lithuania, among others.
