Get Mziki

Get Mziki is a blog wholly owned by Get Mziki LLC, a San Francisco-based company. They have offices in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania through partnerships with Blackstar Entertainment Ltd.

Get Mziki was started with the hopes of finding a sweet spot for all local artists internationally by using technology as a distribution, promotional and marketing platform. They work closely with DJs, promoters, producers and record labels to find the best means to promote music and expand the reach.

At Get Mziki they believe the music industry in East Africa should build upon local market demands and not upon international music industry business models. They hope that they will be part of this on going discussion and relevance.
