Witiri 3rio

Witiri 3rio is a newly born Trio collective from Dar es Salaam Tanzania formed by known master musicians and music teachers, most of the members being music teachers who are committed to bringing a new approach to music and lifting up standards for the upcoming generation of musicians by providing the key to great recording and live music performances.

Witiri is a Kiswahili word that means ODD/IRREGULAR as in odd number; the trio consists of a unique team which has formed its own musical identity which basically fuses African rhythms and melodies with Morden jazz ideas hence inspiring freedom, creativity, and improvisation. The repertoire brings a broad diversity of musical arrangements we call Afro Jazz.
